Description:   The University of California, Merced is a dynamic new university campus in Merced, California, which opened in September 2005 as the tenth campus of the University of California and the first American research university in the 21st century. In keeping with the mission of the University to provide teaching, research and public service of the highest quality, UC Merced offers research-centered and student-oriented educational opportunities at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels through three academic schools: Engineering, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences/Humanities/Arts.

The School of Engineering is seeking applications and nominations for a faculty position in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship.

We are seeking a distinguished senior scholar at the Full Professor or Associate Professor level. Advanced experience from managing technology or innovation processes is desirable. An interest in interdisciplinary work is essential and the successful candidate will work with colleagues in the School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts to develop the Ernest & Julio Gallo School of Management.

Qualifications:   A PhD in relevant field is required. Demonstrated research excellence and potential for future productivity in an area of Technology Management. Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
Salary:   Negotiable, based on the University of California Salary Scales
