Adapting text messages about healthy diets for Latino populations.

Conducting background research (literature review) to understand factors that affect diets of Mexican
American populations.

Working within a team to validate and refine work products, including receiving and providing
constructive feedback.

Qualifications:   •GPA requirement 3.0 or above.
•Students must have been enrolled for at least one semester at the time of application.
•Students must be in good standing academically and in terms of conduct before and during the internship.
•Devote 10 to 18 hours per week to working for host unit for both fall and spring semesters.
•Fulfill internship contract requirements and learning agreement.

Other skills or experience required:
Ability to speak and read Spanish
Attention to detail.
Strong writing skills.
Internally motivated and can-do attitude.
