Description:  

Supervised by the Students First Center (SFC) and UC Office of the President (UCOP)’s Innovative Learning Technology Initiative (ILTI), the Intern will develop and implement marketing strategies for ILTI cross campus online courses (referred to as UC Online Education [UCOE]). SFC leadership and UCOP’s team will provide a unique opportunity to understand support services offered and system-wide marketing perspective.

Undergraduate Student Intern Participation Requirements:

a. Expanding social media role for UCOE

b. Support and expand marketing efforts for UCOE. Will work in collaboration with Marketing group at UCOP.

c. Act as a liaison between the UCOE/ILTI Student Support Services Team (Merced) and the Marketing group at UCOP.

 
Qualifications:   GPA requirement 3.0 or above.
•Students must have been enrolled for at least one semester at the time of application.
•Students must be in good standing academically and in terms of conduct before and during the internship.
•Devote 10 to 18 hours per week to working for host unit for both fall and spring semesters.
•Fulfill internship contract requirements and learning agreement.

Other skills or experience required:

General understanding of marketing principles *Completion of WRI 010 *Student status cannot be freshman
