Description:  

The Community Engagement (CE) Student Employee will work closely with supervisor and Community Engagement team to continue to develop and grow the Community Engagement Center programs and initiatives. The CE Student Employee will develop appropriate tracking, assessment and monitoring tools to assist in ongoing program development and will work collaboratively with community partners in the overall Community Engagement Center Program planning, development, organizing, promoting, recruiting, tracking and assessing.

- Assist in general program oversight and planning from Community Engagement Center (CEC)
- Assist in tracking and facilitating (orientation, communication, final project) course components
- Assist in facilitating of Impact Initiative and the transition to General Education Experiences
- Develop and create graphics and media content
- Update CEC website on a weekly basis
- Manage social media content and establish social media presence through Instagram & Facebook
- Schedule meetings with clubs and organizations

 
Qualifications:   - Ability to work within the mission of OLSC
- Desire to be engaged with community service activities
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and in groups with student, community members and diverse populations
- Ability to maintain flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment
